Description
President Young and most the Twelve had left Nauvoo in February 1846. They were the vanguard company—the Camp of Israel they called themselves. The great majority of the Saints were supposed to, and did, leave Nauvoo in the Spring. They made much better time across Iowa and caught up with the Camp of Israel near the Pisgah settlement. This episode of History of the Saints is their story—the 1846 Spring exodus of the LDS from Nauvoo.
