In the earliest days of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Oliver Cowdery was the second Elder and a first-hand witness of many of the founding events of the Restoration. He was a powerful witness and a faithful servant, but then in 1838 at Far West, Missouri, he was excommunicated from the Church. For ten years he was outside of the faith, but maintained contact with friends inside the Church. This episode of History of the Saints is about Oliver Cowdery’s return to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
