October 4, 1856, Franklin D. Richards arrived in Salt Lake City and told President Brigham Young that there were handcart emigrants still out on the plains. Elder Richards noted a movement among the people.  He called it a work of reformation and a thorough waking up. Elder Richards said that this reformation must reach the habitation of every Saint in Utah, and then extend to every Mission and Branch of the Church throughout the earth.” This episode of History of the Saints is about the Great Mormon Reformation.
