Through Joseph Smith there would come more published scripture to mankind than from any other man in recorded history. The Book of Mormon was the first volume brought forth. The second was to be a compilation of revelations that Joseph had received. That book was to be called the Book of Commandments and this is that story. We begin first with that trek of missionaries to Jackson County Missouri in the summer of 1831.
