In a revelation given to Joseph Smith dated March 28, 1835, the Almighty declared, “The Seventy are also called to preach the gospel and to be especial witnesses unto the Gentiles.” In this episode of History of the Saints we will tell the story of the Seventy and the men who first filled those quorums. We begin on February 8, 1835 in Joseph Smith’s home in Kirtland.
