$2.99

After the Saints were driven from Jackson County they took refuge in Clay County Missouri.

Description

: It was early November 1833, when the Latter-day Saint settlers living in Jackson County Missouri were violently forced out of the county by mobs. Their route of exodus was to the north across the Missouri River into Clay County. The following summer Joseph Smith would lead an army known as Zion’s Camp to restore them to their land. When that purpose was thwarted the Mormons were forced to take refuge in Clay County. Then by 1836 they began settling farther to the north and east in Caldwell County, Missouri where they established the city of Far West. But what of that intervening period in Clay County? That is this episode of History of the Saints.
