Description
Joseph Smith and his brethren were betrayed and arrested on October 31, 1838. That night they were court-martialed and sentenced to be shot. Alexander Doniphan opposed that order. Joseph Smith’s history tells of those events when he was allowed to say goodbye to his family. The date was November 2, 1838.
